This is my favorite Shades of Blue photo because I think that blue was incorporated really well in this photo. It was already pretty blue because of the sky and the water, but after adding a tiny bit more, the blue stands out. I also managed to get blue in almost the whole photo. I took this photo at Granville Island, which is one of my favorite places in Vancouver. I could've gotten a better shot if the wooden posts were not in the way, but overall I am pretty satisfied with this photo.
I like this photo because it captured all the details on my dog's face, although the focus could've been better. To set up this photo, I had to get my dog to sit, which was really hard because she is really young. I wanted her to be staring into the camera, but at the last second she moved her head away. To be honest, I like this more than my original idea. From this photo, I learned that even if you didn't get the picture you wanted, you can get something that is even better.
This is my favourite trio picture mostly because of the detail and colour on the flowers. You can easily the first two flowers and then the 3rd one of the trio is blurred out in the back. The background is blurred and doesn't distract you from the main focus of the photo and there is enough light to see everything clearly, but there it is not overexposed.
For my letters of the world WPC, I walked over to the Elementary School near my house and used the "letters" throughout the playgrounds to spell my name. I thought this WPC would be extremely difficult, but I found it pretty easy and enjoyable.
To take this photo, I had to walk up a slippery, dirt hill, but it was worth it for this photo. I really like this photo because it has a lot of details up close, and then slowly every blurs out. You can see the crystals of the snow which I thought was really neat. I also like how the log kind of leads your eyes through the whole photo.
The picture is of my brother sliding on his long board. Originally this picture was taken awhile ago, but since I was better at using Photoshop, I could actually make it look pretty good. The problem with the photo at the start was the sky was way too bright, so I darkened and masked the bottom half. I think it could be better, but I would've needed to make the changes when I first took this picture. I like it because I put a decent amount of effort in it to make it usable and it somewhat shows the action in this.
